The first batch of riddles in the Exeter Book, one through fifty-nine, have been fully revised. Not too many changes made this time, but just a few that I think make them read better. One big mistake I corrected: in the “Body and Soul” riddle (#43), I misrecognized “agan” for the preterite-present verb meaning “to own” when the context demands that it be “a-gan,” an irregular verb meaning “to depart.”

Like what I was seeing there, to tell the truth. Really appreciate what some of them sound like, especially the “Handwriting” riddle (#57), the Butter Churn” riddle (#54), and the ‘Key” one as well (#44).

Still waiting on our webmaster to create the space for the homily project. Am almost done with Blickling 2 in the meantime.
